Do you want to take a key role in a company that combines a long tradition of craftsmanship with development, structure, and forward-thinking? As Project Manager at Rörtema, you will lead complex plumbing and industrial projects from start to finish – in an organization where you have significant influence, direct access to decisions, and the opportunity to contribute to a clearly growing project business. Here, you will be a central part of the management team while working in an environment where professionalism, quality, and customer focus are at the center.
What do we offer?
- A key role with a significant mandate to influence and develop the project business.
- A strategically important position that is part of the management team.
- Responsibility for both project management and the development of methods, structure, and efficiency.
- Leading project teams and supporting project managers and supervisors.
- Varied and developing projects within both plumbing installations and industry.
- A company with a strong local presence, stability, and close collaboration between departments.
- A secure employment with good benefits, collective agreements, and the possibility of a company car.
About the company
RörTema was founded in 2001 and specializes in plumbing, workshop work, piping, and metalwork. With its own workshop and experienced employees, they handle everything from advanced special solutions to everyday installations. Since 2019, they have been part of Instalco – which means local proximity combined with the vast opportunities available in a national group with over 150 subsidiaries and 6,000 employees. Rörtema operates from southern Östergötland to northern Stockholm.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a solid background in plumbing, construction, or industrial-related installation and several years of documented experience in project management within the industry. You thrive in a role where you combine customer dialogue, leadership, planning, and financial responsibility – and where you get to drive projects all the way from customer meetings to final delivery. Requirements and qualifications:
- Technical education in plumbing/industry, construction, or equivalent practical experience.
- Several years of experience in project management in the installation industry.
- Good knowledge of contract law (AB/ABT), AMA, and industry regulations.
- Strong financial understanding – accustomed to calculations, budgets, forecasts, and follow-ups.
- Good familiarity with IT systems, project tools, and business systems.
- Driver's license B.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for a confident and clear leader who can both guide and develop the project team while handling complex customer needs. You are structured, analytical, solution-oriented, and thrive in an environment where business acumen, quality, and customer relationships are central. As a person, you are communicative, trustworthy, and have a natural ability to see the big picture in every project. You should view business trips as a natural part of the job, as Rörtema has customers over a larger geographic area.
What does the role entail?
As Project Manager at Rörtema, you will play a central role in leading, driving, and further developing a customer-oriented organization. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle – from calculations and planning to execution, follow-up, and delivery – while ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability. You will work closely with the CEO and advisors while leading both installers, supervisors, and project managers. Your tasks will include:
- Leading and planning plumbing/industrial projects from start to finish.
- Assembling and leading project teams.
- Establishing and being responsible for project budgets, timelines, and resource planning.
- Coordinating internal resources and external subcontractors.
- Ensuring that installations are carried out according to legal requirements, industry standards, and contracts.
- Developing customer relationships and ensuring high quality in dialogue and delivery.
- Conducting risk analyses and managing deviations.
- Reporting project status to management and other stakeholders.
- Contributing to structures, improvement work, and effective project methodology.
This is a direct recruitment where you will be employed directly by Rörtema with an immediate start or as agreed. The position is a full-time job of 40 hours per week. This recruitment process includes a background check that compiles previous public criminal records and financial credit reports. Interested? Submit your application as soon as possible – the position may be filled before the application deadline.
